Legal Product Presentation within the Scope of the New Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)

As of December 13, 2024, stricter regulations on the presentation and labelling of products will come into force. To ensure that your products comply with this new Product Safety Regulation, we perform a legal check on your product presentation in advance. With this support, we can ensure that your products are legally compliant and can be sold without any problems. You can be sure.

What is being checked?

• Applicability of the Regulation: We check whether your product falls within the scope of the Product Safety Regulation or whether there are any exemptions.
• Manufacturer Information: We check whether the manufacturer information is complete and accurate. We especially pay attention to whether the e-mail address is written correctly and that the links to the manufacturer's website work.
• Responsible Person for Manufacturers Outside the EU: If the manufacturer is located outside the EU, we check whether a responsible person is specified that complies with the regulatory requirements.
• Product Images: We review whether your product is clearly identifiable and clear.
• Product Name: We check whether the type and name of the product are stated clearly and understandably.
• Identification Information: We examine whether important information such as batch or serial numbers are included on the product or in the store presentation.
• Visibility and Comprehensibility: We check whether all essential information is presented in an easily visible and understandable manner, for example under a separate tab titled “Product Safety”.
• Warning and Safety Information: We review the accuracy and visibility of warnings, if necessary.
• Product Description: We check the completeness of the description and provide advice on correct labelling for products such as toys, electronic devices or textiles.

How Does GPSR Control Work?

1. After Booking: You will receive an email with all the steps.
2. Submit Product Links: Up to 5 products can be submitted for review per booking. If you would like to have more products checked, you can book the GPSR Check multiple times.
3. Preparation: Get your products ready. We provide checklists and support for your preparation process.
4. Report: Once the review is complete, you will receive a detailed report with recommendations for information that is missing or needs to be corrected.

Why Are Only 5 Products Reviewed?

Reviewing 5 products is usually representative of what can be applied to different variations of the product (e.g. different colors or sizes). A sample review will help you learn how to apply the regulatory requirements to the rest of your products. If you want to review more products, you can book multiple reviews and receive feedback for each review.
